What was this project all about?

As part of TasWater’s commitment to invest in new and improved infrastructure, while supporting positive environmental outcomes, we have completed the upgrade of the existing sewage outfall in West Arm, Beauty Point.

The project commenced on 10 February 2025 and was completed in approximately three weeks. Throughout the works, our team navigated several challenges, including difficult access, weather, and changing tides. To ensure the project’s success, we utilised a combination of specialised equipment, including a barge, boats, and divers to complete the project.

This upgrade has supported environmental outcomes while ensuring a reliable and resilient service.

We sincerely thank the community for their patience and cooperation throughout the project.
