What's this project all about?
As part of our Linear Renewals Program, we are upgrading over 11 kilometers of water mains in the Glenorchy area.
The Glenorchy Water Main Renewals Program will be delivered over a 5 year period and we will be working in Berriedale, Claremont, Moonah and Glenorchy.
We will be replacing sections of pipeline that have been prone to frequent breaks and burst over recent years.
Through the delivery of this program we are ensuring a reliable water supply for Glenorchy.
What you will notice during out works?
Our works will be taking place in residential streets and we will be working to minimise disruptions as much as possible.
You can expect the following disruptions if we are working near you:
- Traffic management and detours
- Noise
- Dust
- Service interruptions
