What's this project all about?

As part of our commitment to improve water infrastructure throughout the state, we replaced the existing aging water main in Kelly Street, Battery Point.

The existing cast iron water main was installed in the early 1940s. Over the last few years, this main has shown signs of deterioration, resulting in occasional water quality issues for locals.

This project involved replacing the older main along Kelly Street with a new PVC water main.

Major works were completed in May 2025.
