About
We're really excited to launch the first community program that's part of our "Be a refiller, not a landfiller" campaign.
What is the Refiller program?
The heart of the Refiller Program involves the installation for all abilities water refill stations throughout Tasmania. This initiative aims to promote healthy hydration habits while significantly reducing single-use plastic bottles, which often end up in landfills or our waterways. We are thrilled to have partnered with local Councils across the state as well as the Tasmania JackJumpers and their beloved mascot, Jack, to champion this cause and "Defend the Island, one bottle at a time."
By the start of 2025, we plan to install 30 refill stations in popular locations across Tasmania. These stations will provide convenient access to clean drinking water, encouraging the community to refill and reuse instead of relying on disposable plastic bottles. Together we can collectively reduce the staggering 130kg of single-use plastic waste the average Tasmanian generates annually.
