What's this project all about?
TasWater is committed to removing Public Health Alerts (PHA) as part of our ongoing efforts to improve water quality compliance across the state. This commitment has driven major capital works, including the 24 Glasses Program and the Regional Towns Water Supply Improvement Program (RTWSIP).
We are now in Stage 4 of the RTWSIP, focusing on improving compliance in seven towns: Fentonbury, Ellendale, St Marys, Tullah, Dover, Oatlands, and Bothwell.
The works involve upgrading existing Water Treatment Plants or exploring alternative options, such as increasing treated water storage, to ensure a more reliable supply that meets the current and future needs of the Tasmanian community. This project will enhance treated water capacity and improve supply reliability for regional towns across the state.

Stage 4 of the Regional Towns Water Supply Improvement program will be split into the following phases:

- Construction of additional water storage for Dover
Phase 2
