What’s this project all about?
To continue delivering safe and reliable sewage services, we completed improvement works on Eleni Avenue in Kingston.
The works included installing a whirlybird educt on top of an existing vent pipe and sealing two nearby manholes to improve the performance of the local sewage network. These improvements were designed to help reduce odour and improve the local amenity for residents in the area.
The work was carried out by TasWater contractor MSD Civil Services.
Our next step will be to carry out post-work investigations in the area to assess the results and confirm if any further improvements are needed.
