The team have completed most of the project works for the project, which included the required excavation.

The team will be returning between late April and early March to complete the remaining works:

• Install the final component at the Murray Street Sewage Pump Station, which will allow the team to complete the hardstand area.
• Remove above-ground infrastructure at the corner of Tasman Highway and Gordon Street and replacing it with ground-level lids. We have installed an air valve at this this location, which is essential for the operation of the new sewer.
• Remediate areas affected by the project.

These future works will take place between Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.

Nearby residents may notice minimal machinery (including excavator and a truck) and increase in light vehicles and workers in the area. The noise impact from these works is expected to be minimal.
