Pipeline installation is continuing to progress up Murray Street, and connection to the Tasman Highway section is planned over the coming week.

Preparation for the installation of the valve pit will commence from Monday 4 November at the Murray Street Sewage Pump Station. Due to the rocky ground encountered during our recent work, we will be using rock breaking equipment for this phase of the project. We anticipate this will take approximately one and half weeks.

Those living in the area will notice large machinery, and temporary increase in vibration, noise and dust whilst these works are taking place.

Once excavation for the valve pit has been completed, no further rock breaking is anticipated.
