Regional Towns Improvement Program - Update December 2024

20 December 2024

We’re proud to be delivering on our promise to improve water supply and reliability for regional towns across Tasmania.

  • Tullah: The new concrete reservoir has been successfully poured ahead of the new year, allowing curing to take place over the holiday period. This keeps us on track to complete this additional reservoir by March next year.
  • Ellendale to Fentonbury: Work on the pipeline and pump station is progressing well, with approximately 6km of the pipeline completed—well over halfway there! The new pump station building is also taking shape, with walls up and most of the land shaping works finished.
  • St Marys: Work is underway, with pipework now redirected and foundations poured. The reservoir is on track to be completed by mid-next year.

Construction works at current sites will pause for the holiday break, wrapping up on Friday, 20 December, and resuming on Monday, 6 January.

Thank you for your continued support as we work towards securing a better water future for all Tasmanians.
