As part of the Selfs Point Sewer Transformation, we’re preparing to install the next section of the new sewer pipeline in the vicinity of the Regatta Grounds.

To carry out this work safely and as quickly as possible, temporary changes will be made to public parking and access to the boat ramp/foreshore area.

What’s happening

From Monday, 10 November to late December 2025, parking will be unavailable in this area, and access to the lower car parking and boat ramp/foreshore area will be closed to the public.

Free alternative parking will be available on the grassed area at the Regatta Grounds, in partnership with the City of Hobart.

We understand that this area is well-used and valued by the community, and we appreciate the community’s understanding while this important work takes place.
