As part of the Selfs Point Sewer Transformation, we’re building a new 4.3-kilometre sewer pipeline to support Hobart’s growing community and help deliver a healthier Derwent.

To make this happen, Queens Walk will be closed to traffic between the Domain Highway and Bellevue Parade from Monday 3 March until early May 2025.

• Access to Cornelian Bay remains open – The sporting and recreation area, as well as the Boathouse Restaurant, will still be accessible, but your journey may take a little longer.
• Detours in place – Please allow extra travel time and use the detour map to plan ahead.
• Expect some delays - Depending on the time of day, your commute along the Domain Highway may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.
