We are excited to announce the establishment of our new offices and the commencement of early ground clearing works at our Selfs Point site in New Town Bay. In the coming weeks, we will begin major construction activities for the new treatment plant.

Recently, we successfully completed our planning requirements with essential council and government departments for the new 4.3-kilometre pipeline that will link the new pump station at Macquarie Point with the future Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant at New Town Bay. This milestone was crucial in allowing us to proceed with early works on a section of land between Lower Domain Road and Domain Highway.

If you’re driving along Domain Highway near the Cornelian Bay turn-off, you may have noticed a cleared area on the hill. These clearing works are part of our preparations for the future construction of the new pipeline.

In the upcoming months, we will be laying mulch in this area to manage sediment control and to enhance its appearance until we start construction on the pipeline in early 2025.
