Engagement Report published

This Community Engagement Report summarises the findings from over six months of engagement with TasWater customers and the community to help shape the future of water across Tasmania.

The engagement program – Water. It’s Tasmania’s thing. – kicked off in March 2024, with over 3,500 people registering for their say on Tasmania’s water future. There were multiple opportunities for people to share their views, including online surveys, one-on-one conversations, community pop-up events and various stakeholder forums.

This report aims to provide an overview of the engagement and an understanding of the views shared by our customers and community members around the questions and issues central to developing our Price and Service Plan 5.

Importantly, this report will form a key input into the deliberations of our first-ever Water Future Community Advisory Panel when it meets to provide recommendations to us about Price and Service Plan 5. In this way, panel members will consider not only their personal views, but will be charged with making recommendations on behalf of all Tasmanians.
