    Risdon Road → Brooker Highway

Plan your journey

  • Queens Walk: Closed between Bellevue Parade and the Domain Highway
  • Domain Highway: Expect a mix of full and single-lane closures between the Tasman Bridge and Brooker Highway
  • From Glenorchy: No access to the city via the Domain Highway during closures – please detour via the Brooker Highway
  • Access to the New Town Bay and Cornelian Bay areas: including 10 Lives Cattery, the Rugby Oval, Boathouse Restaurant, and the Cemetery via Brooker Highway → Risdon Road → Queens Walk
  • Allow up to 15 minutes of extra travel time when travelling through this area
  • Program timing may shift due to weather, ground conditions, or contractor availability
  • Once major works are complete, final sealing will follow in the weeks after. This will cause only minor, short-term impacts to traffic

We understand these changes may cause some disruption and sincerely thank the community for their patience and cooperation as we deliver this vital project for Hobart’s future.
